10 Easy Lessons, Learn To Play Keyboard For The Young Beginner has been designed to introduce the younger student to the basics of keyboard playing and reading music.
This method is suitable for all types of keyboards.

This method has been designed to provide the student with an extensive repertoire of well-known children's songs.
The songs are carefully graded into an easy-to-follow, lesson-by-lesson format, which assumes no prior knowledge of music or the keyboard by the student.
It incorporates very easy arrangements involving more than a range of one octave on the treble staff played with the right hand, and three chords (C, F, G) played with the left hand (one-finger and fingered).
It introduces the student to 4/4 and 3/4 time, incorporating quarter, half and whole notes and their equivalent rests.
Only the white keys are used.

The student is taught how to read music, and introduced to basic terms such as barlines, repeat signs and lead-in notes.
A suggestion for a voice and rhythm section is given with each song as a guide to help the student get the best possible sound out of the keyboard.
The suggested voices and rhythms are used on the recordings. A small diagram of a compact disc wih a number as shown below indicates a recorded example.
